Counterflows 2015

The 2015 edition of the festival saw us embrace a wider range of music than before: Mauritanian griot blues, contemporary Taiwanese experimental music, extreme computer music, politically-charged Brazilian free jazz and post-punk, and so much more. Our Artist in Focus this year was Richard Youngs, who presented new work “Experiment for Demolished Structures”, a solo set and his group ‘The Flexibles, with his son Sorley and Andrew Paine.
