Counterflows 2013

And so we began… the third edition felt like the real beginning. We had established that the festival actually could continue to happen. We also commissioned our first major work: Candy Shop by Lina Lapelyte. This was an important step for the festival. We now take it for granted that one of our main goals is to commission new work and support artists in this process but Candy Shop was the first. We also started our first residency opportunity with the support of the CCA and Goethe Institute. Annette Krebs and Janie Nicoll delivered this with aplomb.
