Counterflows on Paper 2023
The third issue of Counterflows On Paper, the Counterflows zine which we started during those strange days of the pandemic. We originally devised the zine as a way to creatively engage with artistic practices and music outside of the realm of live music, but over time we’ve realised it’s now a key part of the festival. To us, music never exists in a vacuum, and how it touches, inspires and is informed by other aspects of life, art and culture is at the heart of what we do.
Working closely in response to this year’s festival and its underlying themes, Joel White and Helen Charman have done a sterling job pulling together a selection of thought-provoking pieces, spilling into prose, poetry, cultural criticism, art and more.
