Coronavirus Safety
To ensure the safety & well-being of all audience members, artists & staff we are taking the following measures. Please read these carefully:
**updated from the 21st of March 2022**
Lateral Flow Tests
– Upon arrival at the first event you attend at the festival, in order to gain entry you will be required to present a negative lateral flow test taken that day, regardless of whether you are vaccinated or not. You can present the negative test itself or a time stamped picture as proof. Lateral flow tests can be ordered for free here: https://www.mygov.scot/covid-highest-risk/free-lateral-flow-tests-covid
– Once you have shown the negative test you will be given a wristband that will guarantee you entry to all other events as part of the festival. You will not need to present any more negative lateral flow tests once you receive the wristband, but for each day of the festival we strongly recommend you take lateral flow tests every day to make sure you are not infected.
Venue Safety
At the door of each venue we will be supplying free masks and hand sanitiser. We strongly encourage the use of masks throughout the festival, apart from when eating and drinking.
We will be regularly cleaning all surfaces at each venue. Some venues are equipped with better conditioning and airflow than others, but we will be encouraging as much airflow as possible in each space.
Symptoms
If you have Covid symptoms or believe you may have been exposed to infection, please do not come to the festival. If you are unable to attend the festival – either due to testing positive or due to having to isolate – then we will be happy to issue a full refund for you.
Before coming to one of our events, we recommend that you do everything you can to make sure that you personally are not infectious. We strongly encourage the use of masks and hand sanitiser on your journey to the festival. We also strongly encourage getting vaccinated & getting booster jabs to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.
