Counterflows at You & Me Festival, Beijing

Super excited to be heading to Beijing on the August the 4th, where we’ll be presenting a Counterflows event as part of You and Me Festival.

We’ll be welcoming:
Tom Mudd
Cara Tolmie
Jackson Burton

The line-up – selected in collaboration with You and Me – features some of our favourite Scottish or Scottish based artists working today. The event follows our ongoing partnership and engagement with China’s underground scene, having welcomed Yan Jun and Soldier (Xiang & Yu Ming Jing) to Counterflows Festival in recent years.

The event will be followed by a ‘Fake Conversation’ with Dahong, Jackson Burton, Fielding Hope, Mattin, Tom Mudd, Sun Yizhou, Cara Tolmie, John Wilton, Yan Jun, Yifan, Zhao Ziyi.

Tom Mudd makes music with computers. Recent work revolves around physical models: digital synthesis processes based on physical simulations of acoustic objects and instruments. Cara Tolmie
