Boosterhooch

Once described as Glasgow’s “most ubiquitous DJ”, once as Scotland’s “most successful cash-in-hand DJ”, and even lately (unironically) as “one of the UK’s most dynamic DJs”, Boosterhooch is a Glasgow-immersed DJ. A recent no-holds-barred mix for Local Action and Finn McCorry’s Mixtape Club series saw her snap up a Resident Advisor Mix of the Day accolade; darting between a slew of club styles to reflect her keenness for both the experimental and anthemic. This Glasgow-scene-immersion is expressed through her monthly subscription-based events series “Events Research Programme”, a recent release on beloved cassette label GLARC, and time spent on the airwaves of both Subcity Radio and Radio Buena Vida and behind the counter at local institutions Rubadub and Monorail.
