Ash Reid

Ash Reid is a Scottish performer and writer, currently finishing a CHASE-funded PhD researching feminist film distributor Cinenova, and film and video production in relation to national identity in Britain. Her work uses historic layering as a compositional practice to think about contemporary rituals of work and instances of revolt, through their specific sounds, texts and rhythms. She teaches on the MFA at Goldsmiths, tends bar at Cafe OTO, and is a member of oral history collective MayDay Radio, all based in London.
