ANGUSRAZE
When pop and experimental music come together it often tends to be at the expense of one or the other. ANGUSRAZE – a relatively new project based out in Kent – refuses the binary of either, making music that sounds like two crashing together like tectonic plates. Taking influence from J-pop, US hardcore, homoerotic cult film and surrealism, Angusraze’s feels like an ecstatic blast of queer futurity, a complete refusal of the singular; sound projected at hyper-speed like a digital million fragments that somehow hold together. In our books they’re one of the most exciting new music projects in the UK.
