We are very pleased to announce that we have received funding for the next iteration of Music Space, including two bursaries beginning in July and a series of creative sessions later in the year.

The bursary programme will be shaped by the recipients and will include financial support and use of equipment across nine months, plus:

> Monthly mentoring sessions with two Music Space mentors
> Regular catch ups with Music Space team to help shape the programme and reflect on progress
> A two-week residency at the Centre for Contemporary Arts Creative Lab in November 2023 with full technical support
> Meetings/mentoring sessions with chosen artists/professionals
> Opportunity to present at Counterflows 2024

Bursary recipients will be selected via nomination. Watch this space!

Music Space is part of The Scottish Government’s Youth Music Initiative (YMI) which is administered by Creative Scotland. The YMI creates access to high quality music making opportunities, enables young people to achieve their potential in or through music and supports the development of the sector for the benefit of young people.
