Counterflows 2025
As the 2025 edition of Counterflows fades into the distance we just wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone that made this edition such a joyous occasion. All the artists, the wonderous audience and the whole Counterflows team were magnificent. Each venue and their teams played a huge role in making the festival run smoothly. After our year off we were overwhelmed by the response to Counterflows’ return. The energy and atmosphere was just remarkable.
We are now regrouping and looking forward to a period of transition for the organisation. With the award of three year funding from Creative Scotland we are now able to employ three of the team. Alasdair Campbell, Fielding Hope and Matilda Strang will become PAYE employees. Fielding has already moved back to Glasgow and will start full-time in August which is really exciting. Matilda will join us later in the Year and is already planning the next iteration of our initiative for young people, Music Space.
