Very pleased to be teaming up with our friends at Radiophrenia and GLOSS to present this one-off duo show from Seijiro Murayama and Jean-Luc Guionnet. Both have a long history in Glasgow dating back to the days of INSTAL, and known for their rigorous, physical and philosophical approaches to music and sound. Expect a night of music that teases and challenges the fringes of experimental and improvised music.

Jean-Luc and Seijiro will present two sets: one on saxophone and percussion/voice, and another utilising GLOSS’ synthesizers, following a short residency in the space that week. A ticket for the show allows entry for both sets.

The event will be broadcasted live as part of Radiophrenia Festival. Tune in!

This will be a very small capacity show, so we strongly recommend booking in advance.

Following the event, Music Space will be hosting a workshop with Jean-Luc & Seijiro at Civic House on Sunday the 6th of September. Further information can be found on the Music Space website.

Seijiro Murayama

Born in Nagasaki in 1957. Musician and improviser. Murayama also conducts workshops on improvisation. He performs using his voice, snare drum (or drum set).
