Founded by west coast artists Chuquimamani-Condori & Joshua Chuquimia Crampton, grupo Los Thuthanaka bridges the past, present & future of the mighty Pakajaqui Nation through a potent blend of Andean rhythms, Aymara composition & psychedelic rock to create a style of Andean music unheard until now. Huayño, caporal, and kullawada are transformed into complex sonic landscapes, where tradition merges with the digital in an act of lliving, untamed memory.
After Chuquimamani-Condori’s blistering set at our event with Arika at the Tramway in November 2024, its a pleasure to welcome this group for their first show in Scotland.
