Ghost Tunes
Really excited to announce this new project developed in collaboration with Counterflows’ friends and colleagues Madeleine Flynn and Tim Humphrey in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. After months of chatting through ideas around language, landscape and the impact on our cultures of these fundamental elements Ghost Tunes emerged. And now with artists Cass Ezeji and Josie Vallely in Scotland and Cass Lynch and Mei Swan Lim from Australia on board to engage their practices in exploring with us some of these ideas, it is really exciting to see where the project will take us. We are also working with two brilliant organisations, Scottish Sculpture Workshop in Lumsden, Scotland and Wired Lab in Cootamundra, NSW, Australia. Along the way we will be engaging artists and community members in an open dialogue about the project. Ghost Tunes is funded as part of British Council’s UK/AU Season 2021-22.
