Composer/percussionist Susie Ibarra creates live and immersive music that explores rhythm, indigenous practices and interaction with cities and the natural world. After cutting teeth in New York’s fervent free-jazz scene alongside the likes the likes of John Zorn and William Parker, Susie has gone on to be total collaborator across art forms, science and the vagaries of the natural world, fully embracing the notion of art in the community. Susie will be presenting a new work for percussion at this event.
Please note that due to the volume of this piece we cannot accept late entries, so please make sure to arrive just before 8pm latest :)
